There are many applications and products which allow individuals with vision loss to have the means to obtain employment and otherwise reach the goals they have set for themselves. I was a consultant with Texas blind services for 20 years as a Texas State approved Adaptive Technologist. I resigned in 2018 so I could follow my passion to support the blind community without bureaucratic limitations.
I am still working with and have had the honor to contract with the Veterans Administration supporting blind veterans since 2008 assisting them with their technology needs. Many WW 2and Vietnam vets. So many interesting stories. Working with the Vets are my most cherished memories.
